This past year I auditioned for a reality TV show, made new friends, traveled, got a Windows Phone, drank wine, shopped for shoes and consumed lots of coffee.
I remember exactly where I was, who I was with and what I was wearing when I celebrated the arrival of 2011. I was wearing a grey backless dress, emerald teardrop earrings and black heels. I was spending New Years Eve with my best friend Kelly and at the time new friend Micah Gantman. We had a great time ringing in 2011, talking about our plans and hopes for the new year. Now it’s the end of 2011 and I’ve welcomed the arrival of 2012 with open arms. Maybe it’s just me but I think this year went by quicker than any other year I can remember.
It’s been an amazing year, probably one of the most memorable and exciting that I’ve had yet. I’ve met incredible people who’ve inspired me, who’ve moved me and encouraged me, people who I can now call my closest of friends. Professionally, blog wise, family wise and more I feel as though I have grown and learned tremendously in this last year. I’ve had the opportunity to travel and have some of my biggest fashion dreams become reality. I’ve shared a few special photos from this last year and put together a quick video of some of my favorite moments of 2011.
Visiting the corporate offices of my favorite designer of all time, Tory Burch in New York City
Meeting and interviewing Deborah Lippmann
Meeting and interviewing fashion designer Monique Lhuillier
In closing and saying goodbye to last year I just want to thank anyone and everyone who’s ever visited my blog, your comments and emails are appreciated more than you know! I’ve got a big inspiration board going here by my desk, I’m excited for all the things I want to share in 2012.
